On August 5th, a dog’s mother posted a video of herself being selected for a cat distribution system: A stray tuxedo cat jumped over a fence to try and get to know its owner, who was trying to get away from the cat. However, the cat was determined and led the owner to her kittens.

Amber Reed, a West Virginia resident, was not a cat lover and was a dog mom through and through. But a chance encounter with a stray cat inspired her to do everything she could for the cat. The 31-year-old had no choice but to resign herself to fate and accept the decision of the cat distribution system. The cat jumped over the fence and approached her.
In the video, the stray cat jumps over a fence to snuggle up to her. The cat is so affectionate that Reid couldn’t help but pick it up and call her boss to convince her to adopt the cat. The adorable video has been viewed more than 682,000 times and has more than 196,000 likes.
But their story doesn’t end there: West Virginia residents tried to find the stray cats’ owners. Unfortunately, microchip scans didn’t help. NewsweekEventually, Reed let the cat, named Miley, lead the way in the hopes that she would find the kittens’ owner, but the cat ended up leading the kittens into some bushes up a hill.
The cat distribution system chose the dog’s mother, who did her best to help Miley and her kittens. The stray cat found a forever home with Reed’s neighbor. But the kittens need a little grooming before they can be adopted. The stray cats are “finicky” and need to be socialized before they can find a loving home.
