A story about a cute, sassy cat named Priscilla who has gained quite the reputation as a prison escapee has been gaining a lot of attention on the Internet. Ohio SPCA The well-known animal shelter, And Humane Society, shared the cat’s story in a post on their official Facebook page on Sunday, September 8th.
In the caption of a Facebook post, the animal shelter described Priscilla as a “cute, sassy girl.” The shelter revealed that Priscilla had repeatedly broken into the prison to look for food, thus earning the cute cat a reputation as an escapee. However, prison guards could not tolerate Priscilla’s mischievous behavior. They took her to the Ohio SPCA & Humane Society Animal Shelter.
Ohio shelter rescues cat with record of ‘prison break-in’
As mentioned above, the Ohio SPCA & Humane Society, an animal shelter, rescued Priscilla, a white cat with a black and cream orange pattern. The cat had a history of breaking into prisons multiple times in search of food. The county jail guards could not tolerate any more intrusions, so they handed her over to a shelter in Ohio.
The shelter said in a Facebook post that Priscilla is nearly a year old and has gotten along well with the other animals since arriving at the shelter.
The shelter went on to explain that being in a completely new place can be extremely stressful for cats, which is why they need a home where they can relax and feel safe. “New places can be very stressful for cats,” they wrote in the caption, “so you’ll need to provide them with a place in your home to let off some steam.”
The shelter welcomes interested adopters to meet Priscilla. The Ohio SPCA & Humane Society is located at 3606 Elida Road in Lima, Ohio.
