The kitten with its “always surprised” face does not let anything get in its way and charms people every day.
Batty
Batty the kitten came to the Chris Griffey Memorial Cat Foundation when rescuers noticed her nose was a little different and asked for help.
“She has a cleft nose, which means her nostrils are separated. In some cases, she also has a cleft palate, but Batty doesn’t have that,” foster mom Kimberly told Love Meow.
Upon arrival, Batty made a big impression on everyone. Despite her tiny size, she was ready to conquer the world.

She showed a strong will to live and was eager to learn to eat from a plate. Once she got the hang of it, she ate the food with gusto. With a voracious appetite, she began to gain weight and strength.
Batty’s cleft nose does not affect breathing. It’s purely superficial and only adds to her cuteness.

She was excited to carry it around in her pocket and be close to people during work and daily life. She had a round body and small feet, and when she walked she limped like a furry ball of joy.
“She’s so fluffy that she looks like a little ball. She loves playing with other kittens, has a nice whisker, and loves watching Bird TV on YouTube.”
Kimberly
Batty has a strong personality, believes himself to be twice his size, and has an expressive face to match. She seems to have a “constantly surprised” look on her face that captivates everyone she meets.
“She’s a very affectionate girl. She loves to be held or just lie down. When you touch her, she melts and rolls over and rubs her belly.”

With a loving foster home and a feline friend to play with, Batty’s adventurous side shines through.
She walks around the house examining every nook and cranny, and she’s always the one who starts the antics. One moment she’s rolling around the living room with another foster parent, the next they’re sneaking into the bathroom, mesmerized by the porcelain bathtub.

Batty leads a crew of cats, causing wild frolics and all sorts of mischief. There’s never a dull moment in the house.
Exhausted by playfulness, she transforms into a snuggle insect, seeking love and comfort. She loves to play, but most importantly she loves to cuddle with her humans.
Kimberly
Batty likes to curl up on his foster mother when he’s ready to take a nap and recharge. For her, there is no greater joy than the soft caress of a human hand and the gentle rhythm of a heartbeat.
She is fearless, always gets what she wants, and doesn’t take no for an answer.

Three days ago, Batty accompanied his adoptive mother on an errand in the car. After getting everything they needed, they stopped at the drive-thru and got a puppy/kitten cup as a treat for Tuxedo.
Batty was very brave and demanded attention through the window as if he wanted to order it himself.
Kimberly
She has entered her noisy kitten stage and is moving around in a daze. She attracts a human’s attention with her characteristic “surprised” face and knows that expression will get her whatever she wants.

After a tough start, Batty achieved her dreams and got all the cuddles she wanted.
