One woman intended to adopt two kittens, but ended up returning home with three kittens in her arms. This was the best result ever.

A woman was looking to adopt two kittens from a local rescue organization, Foster Kitten Mama, when a third, playful kitten caught her eye.
It all started when the shelter’s founder, Heidi Shoemaker, adopted a pregnant cat who had spent days hiding at an animal shelter. Shortly after arriving at the foster care facility, she gave birth.
“She arrived just in time, and I’m so grateful that we were able to get rid of the fleas[before the baby was born],” Heidi said.

Eden the cat gave birth to three healthy kittens. Two had adorable cow markings and one was completely black. They were instantly hooked and nursed contentedly. Away from the constant noise of the shelter, Eden relaxed with her small children by her side.
The kittens quickly gained weight and strength. Even before their eyes opened, they were a close-knit trio, often cuddling in each other’s arms while nursing.

Thanks to the loving support of her adoptive mother, Eden gained confidence in raising her baby. This trio has achieved many milestones and has grown into active, plump young cats.
“Eden is still a shy girl, but I know she will be great if given enough time to let go of her past struggles.”

The kittens jumped around the playpen with springy steps and started doing all kinds of antics. Their mother watched from the side, enjoying the peace and quiet.
The kittens noticed that she was a little shy around people, so they snuggled up to her, purring as if to comfort her. Heidi knew that beneath that wariness was a sweet soul seeking love.

The trio (Everett, Evan, and Ellis) were a happy and vibrant crew. They flew around like little whirlwinds, climbed cat posts, swiped toys with fiery energy, and enjoyed every playful moment together.
When the foster parents used a scratcher to interact with their mother, the kittens immediately jumped on it and treated it like a new toy.

When the family of four was put up for pre-adoption, two of the kittens, Ellis and Evan, immediately caught the attention of adopters. She fell in love with them at first sight and planned to welcome them into her home.
A few days later, as Heidi continued looking for homes for the other two, she received a call from the adopters.

The adopted child couldn’t stop thinking about Everett. When she saw the three cats happily jumping around together, she realized how strong their bond was, and couldn’t keep them apart, so she decided to bring the other one into her home.
“She was only going to adopt two, but she ended up wanting all three,” Heidi told Love Meow.

When the adopter arrived to collect the kittens, the three kittens cuddled into her arms and purred happily. “The adopter already has two young cats, so they’re going to have fun together.”
“It’s so nice to know they’re always together.”

After the kittens left for their forever homes, Eden continued to socialize them. About a week later, her wish came true. Eden has found the perfect home.
“Her foster family also took in two other wild mothers, both of whom are thriving now. One is a lap kitten. Eden will now be safe and loved forever. You can adapt at your own speed.”
