The choice to muzzle your dog may sound controversial to others, but this mom on TikTok shares why she chooses to muzzle her cocker spaniel over rehoming. .
In a Sept. 25 video, a TikTok user @emmmorris has a list of reasons why she won’t let her dog home, which is muzzled by her 1-year-old daughter.

But Morris, who now has a one-year-old daughter, chose to muzzle Fern to avoid putting her and her dog at risk.

“She loves to be involved, so why send her to a home without kids?” Morris wrote.

Morris also said that Fern is comfortable wearing the muzzle, and only wears it when Morris’ toddler is walking around with toys outside, sometimes for shorter periods of 1 to 2 hours. revealed.
Morris stood firm on the decision, saying they know Fern best and that she is part of the family.
“We will continue to train her, understand her and keep everyone happy and safe.” Morris wrote.
