They took the cat off the street and saw her seeking affection in a way they didn’t expect.

Before Candy, before Tortoischell was rescued, she lived in the community cat colony at business properties.

She was taken to a local veterinary clinic where she discovered she had an injured tail. While being cared for by an animal rescuer, they realized how incredibly friendly she was.

“They realized she was so sweet and deserved a chance to find an eternal home,” Gab Silci, co-founder of Foster the Furby (Volunteer-Based Animal Rescue), shared with Me of Love.

As her tail healed, her rescuer reached out and raised her fur for help.

“When I first got her, she was very chatty and drove home. She continued to rub her fingers all over her pussy career. When she got home, she had munching food and more space to calm and relax.”

After a quick tour of her room and a heartfelt meal, Candy took a walk to her foster mom and climbed onto her lap for pets and affection. “She definitely found herself safe right away. She wanted to quickly make a biscuit on a blanket and hold her in a hug.”

Candy enjoyed her new space, but it was even better when Gab was there to share it with her.

After wandering the streets for most of her life, Candy was grateful that there was a kind person to take care of her. “She is very loving and wants to be a snuggle and be a pet. She wants to be close to me all the time.”

She flops onto Gab’s lap, stretching her legs out and holding her hand, feeling like she’s at home.

“Her personality is a microcosm of tortie. She can be very sweet, but she can also be very cocky.

With every blanket she can hope for, Candy constantly illuminates “making a biscuit” with pure bliss.

Candy may not like other cats, but she suffocates humans with pure, snuggle and gentle massage in her own words.

“She’s so excited to see me. She loves to cuddle up on my lap. She likes to play, but she’s not very active and she’s very chatty and crazy.”

The moment Gab sits, Candy snuggles in her lap and is ready to worship. Although sweet as candy, she has quite “tortured” and is not embarrassed to let people know how she feels.

“Candy is the type of cat that gets a little over-stimulated. But on the other hand, she is a very loving girl. She is a complete rap cat and loves attention.”

“She needs adoption to learn clues about being enough and enough (her eyes look, huff and puff). Having time to settle down with herself makes all the difference.”

Recently, Candy decided it was time to explore the rest of the house and even tolerate other cats as long as they respect her space.

She claimed the big bed as hers and found the perfect place by the window. “In addition to loving hugging, she also loves to sit in the window and look out.”

After her time on the street, Candy is excited to be indoors and enjoys all the pampering and affection.

She is the center of attention, the queen of the castle, and prefers to sprint through warm raps and take over human beds.
