The Story of Chihuahua’s Defense – Dogstar

By SecretWuff 5 Min Read

Welcome to Dogstar’s Wednesday Dog! Every Wednesday, we share a story from one of our dog stars. This week we’re talking about Amanda and her sweet Chihuahua, Subi.

Subi is not the most typical Chihuahua. She is bold with bark, but in her attitude she is meek. Despite being a bit introverted, she knows when it will go and she is ready to announce the inner bulldog that lives in all Chihuahuas. Subi can sometimes get quite noisy, but you’re most likely to cower when you try. She may look like a sweet, ti-sick creature who longs for a gentle pat, but she knows how to protect hers when the situation asks for it.

We recently contacted a plumber to repair the disposal of the garbage and were totally hoping for regular repairs. Many of the services have been unharmed and have accomplished countless times before. However, this time he didn’t realize he was trying to unleash the beast on an unsuspecting soldier.

As soon as the plumber hit our driveway, Subi’s ears were energized. She may have been at home on the couch a few seconds ago, but the transformation began when the doorbell rang. Just as the Power Rangers sought obligations – it was morphing time.

The initial interaction between the two was tense. A big guy with a huge tool bag totted and wearing all the reds. Subi laughs at his goofy gathering first, then imagines hunting him down as a threat after focusing on his extra gear. The subi barked relentlessly and apologised to our guests. He brushed her off as a cutie and boasted about the dog he had in the house. I don’t notice it completely. What is she going to do? Can you get a little more bar?

However, this was the standard behavior of the Subi. The excessive barking usually subsides after she falls into some sense of smell. Most new people quickly bend over and show that they are not attempting hostile takeovers. I went to pick her up and made sure she kept a gate in my office area, but this guy inspected our plumbing and allowed him to work in peace. Before we could begin, he handed me an iPad to review and approve the project. And I put my suba on the floor thinking that he had finally passed the vibrator check. Spoiler alert, he didn’t.

Intruder Alert

As they do during repairs, men frequently visited the trucks for a variety of parts and tools. This meant opening and closing the front door. After one search, the plumber removed the boots and the subi charged. She pinched the skin of his middle toe and pinched it like evil. cried this gentleman. That was frustrating. This is not something she’s done before, and fortunately, she didn’t cause any physical damage as she only had teeth left. It’s probably a slight heart movement pit, but there are no skin damage. We locked up the subi in my bedroom for the rest of his visit, so we chuckled awkwardly about it. I apologise a lot and he was more than kind and understanding.

I’m not someone who leaves Yelp or Google reviews, but when this guy asked me to do that I was that much like saying. There’s only little I can do to make up for the unfair dog attacks he endured in my home. We concluded the bill, said goodbye, and he went.

Lessons learned

All jokes aside, it is very important to separate your pet from strangers, especially in these types of situations where you can control the outcome. It is our duty as a responsible pet owner to keep all involved safe at all times.

I’ve learned not to underestimate your dog. Because even the smallest and least suspicious people can act entirely from their personality when they feel threatened. This day will reasses me guilty for the rest of my life and disguise my subi as our guard dog.
