Tractor Supply employees noticed a slightly orange tabby bouncing off, looking for food and attention.

The kitten was born to a cat from an elusive community that left the area with other kittens and returned only at night. However, the little Tabby chose to stay and turned the shop into a temporary home.

Employees looked for other kittens, but Tebbie was the only kitten they found.

“He lived in the garden centre, and the people who work there called him a ‘tractor’. He was very sociable and total ham,” Stephanie Grantham, president of Sparkle Cat Rescue, shared with Love Meow.

He survived with the kindness of the people in the store. When he was around eight weeks, they wanted to take him to a rescue that could ensure a bright future for him.

They contacted Heidi, a regular store at a store supporting several cat colonies around town. Knowing that the kitten needs a foster parent, Heidi reaches out to Stephanie and asks if there is room for a small kitten.

“Thankfully, I had a foster parent who had just adopted me and opened a slot for him.”

The kitten greeted Heidi with his adorable tippy tap and throbbed enthusiastically. The friendly little guy had a visitor and was happy that Heidi scooped him up and placed him in the transport company.

“I never saw him until the day before I went to pick him up. It was wild how friendly he was,” he said, “and went back to find her mother cat and get the help she needs.” Heidi said, who was scheduled.

The kitten, renamed Gus, received a clean health bill from the vet and moved to her foster home with Lori and Brian.

After temporarily hiding under the bed, Gus gathers the courage to explore his new space and examines his toys and all the equipment. That night, he transformed into a small love bug, seeking attention and embrace from his foster parents.

The next day, Gus notices Charlie, a resident cat who appears to be a larger version of himself and has exhausted his boundaries to greet him. After some curious smell, Charlie warmly welcomed the little newcomer to the fold.

Eventually, the two friends were by the window, sharing a spot in the cat tree.

The gas squeals all day long. He holds himself when playing and wrestling with Charlie, even though he’s much smaller. “He accused him with Charlie Full Steam and jumped at him,” Lori shared.

“Charlie and Gus seem to be typical siblings. They love to play with each other, and Charlie often washes Gus’s little head.”

Now, Gus spends his days after foster parents, planning all sorts of antics around the house. “Charlie often runs to Little Gus and attacks him. Surprisingly, Gus does the same thing with Charlie, even though Charlie is just over his size.”

“Gus is a small speaker and can be extremely vocal, especially if someone doesn’t want to play with him. He loves feeding times and knows exactly when he’s going to eat.”

“He finishes the bowl and waits for the other cats to finish their stuff so he can eat the rest of his food. He sleeps with me and other resident cats. I love him. He’s a really perfect little boy.
