The cat immediately began seeking attention, making up for the years he had spent as a stray.

Tom Jones the cat has spent his whole life on the streets, battling the elements and surviving on scraps of food and the kindness of strangers.
When he was about two years old, he was rescued from a harsh natural environment and finally began a new life where he could heal, eat to his heart’s content, and sleep soundly without worrying about what the next day would bring.
It didn’t take Tom long to get used to living indoors. Once he knew it was safe, his eyes lit up and he began to crave attention.

Despite having to fight for his survival outside, Tom quickly warmed to his owners, greeting all visitors with adorable meows and affectionate head-butts. He needed a home and a hero who would open his heart and accept him, and volunteers from the Stray Cat Club stepped in to help.
“This special cat was previously living as a stray, but even after a rough life, she is still a very loving, laid-back and playful cat,” Stray Cat Club reported.

Soon after arriving at his foster home, Tom began following his owner everywhere and always seeking petting and affection.
He loved people of all ages and would slide in close to them, sitting flopping on the floor with his paws stretched out in the air.

He was so sweet that he charmed everyone he met, even the other cats. Their owners noticed how much he loved the little people in the house, purring and snuggling with them.
“Tom is just an all-around great guy. He loves to be petted and cuddled.” He’s laid-back and sweet, and just wants to be everyone’s best friend.

He happily uses cardboard boxes as toys and begins kneading the moment his paws touch a soft blanket or rug.
After just a week indoors, Tom has matured into a sociable, affectionate cat who never tires of all the attention he receives. “This is a huge turnaround for a cat who used to live on the streets as a stray. His story is a reason why rescues continue in these difficult times.”

Despite having once lived as a stray, Tom has become the perfect companion cat, savoring every moment he spends with his owners. “Tom is a loving, fun-loving, laid-back guy who loves life.”
A few weeks after being rescued, he was visited by a lovely family who immediately fell in love with his sweet personality.

Tom needed a home of his own, and they knew he would be a perfect fit for their family. Soon, Tom became Leo, the new king of his castle, showered with love and affection.

“Leo is now enjoying what he does best, getting and giving all the love in the world. He loves to sleep on his owner’s lap and purr in his lap.”
He has made every inch of his new home his own, chasing his family around the house.

He makes his presence known by “talking” to his owners, demands their company and ensures they are never left alone. “The owners are crazy about him. Leo is living the best life in his new home. It’s a match made in heaven.”
