Once left behind on the street, the cat has been transformed into the ultimate rap cat eager to become everyone’s “weighted blanket.”

Mango, an orange and white cat, is left to wander the streets after being turned away from the bodega, once his home.
Living outdoors was tough for friendly cats like mangoes. Having to dodge and clean food for himself made him tired, hungry, and longed for a place to call home. When the Green Point Cats volunteers learned of their situation, they came to his aid immediately.
When he was taken inside, his true personality came to life. “He’s big and in charge… he’s in charge of your knee,” the rescue shared.

Mango is about 4 years old and FIV+, but his energy and spirit remain completely unstoppable. “It simply means he has a slightly lower immune system, but it can’t stop him from living a complete, happy and healthy life.”
Shortly after arriving at foster care, he confidently explored every corner, making the whole house feel like hiss.

He was relaxing with them, kneading satisfied with his feet as his humans settled down to watch TV.
Eventually they discovered one of his most beloved traits. This gentle giant flops onto his lap and wraps himself in a warm, loving embrace. “The ultimate rap cat, Mango, wants to be your personal weighted blanket.”
He quickly turned into a rap catGreen Point Cat
Just as Mango enjoys his athletic attitude, he worships more of a snuggle with his people, like a leap from chair to chair. He is happiest when he warms their knees and keeps them together, especially when he needs a little extra comfort for his cat.
“He’s not shy, but he likes to kiss his pets. Mangoes will definitely climb above you and doze off until your feet go to sleep.”

Mango is a champion biscuit maker and he likes to warm up by kneading blankets and shirts before he settles down on the cozy corners of the sofa. Once he is satisfied, he leaned like a prominent gentleman and ready for some TV.
“He enjoys watching TV, especially the British, as the biscuit makers themselves.”

Once he gets the zoom he can stand up over impressive distances with perfect landing and perfect balance. He is strong and agile, and easily catches moving toys across his path. “He is a naturally born hunter and a well-known athlete.”
As he relaxes with his people, he loves to maintain his connection by gently resting his feet and feet.

Mango is excited to have a roof over his head, plenty of delicious food, and a caring foster parent who adores the cuddles in his cravings.
