Cat Artie was left behind when his family left. For a while he wandered the streets, learned to dodge for himself, and dreamed of the day he had once again owned a home.

Thanks to the TNR program, he was finally rescued. His charmingly sweet and loving nature proved that he was never something for street life. Clifton Animal Shelter welcomed him with open arms and decided to find the perfect eternal home.

“He’s a special cat with a heart full of giving,” Clifton Animal Shelter shared.

“Arty is FIV+. This means his immune system requires a little extra attention to keep him healthy. But don’t scare it. FIV+ cats can live a long and happy life with proper care.

“He’s the kind of cat that curls up on your lap and rounds the day.”

As soon as the staff entered, his eyes brightened, his pills began to purr, and he was all set to hold onto their hearts.

“Arty’s journey wasn’t easy, but his sweet nature sparkled everything. This handsome boy was one of a few cats thrown outside by his owner. Thankfully, Artty has found his way to us.”

At around 2-3 years old, Artie had a reputation as the most snuggling cat in town. He flourished with caution and was always ready to suffocate his people with kisses.

He was very human-focused, so he longed for a quiet house. There he was able to become a star of the show and there was no need to share this human with other animals.

He greeted everyone who passed the kennel with a gentle bulge, hoping for their attention and delicious treats. His charming personality quickly made him a favorite among volunteers. “Arty reminds me that the difficulties in life can’t darken the kind heart.”

He radiated life and love in the sunshine at the shelter.

“He’s incredibly active and loves to explore his surroundings. He’s always looking for fun. When he’s not researching his environment, Artie is all hugged.”

For months, Artie poured all the visitors he met into a fascinating and fascinating charm, hoping to wipe them off their feet. Several of the cats who arrived at the shelter with him were adopted, but Artie was happy to wait after him.

They shared his story over and over again until they finally received the news they had been waiting for, and did not stop Artie from cheering on.
