About two months ago, Meagan, president of Puppykittynycity, received an urgent request to rescue a cat in desperate need.
Some good Samaritans hear the cat scream and find him hiding behind his career. When they saw him seeking attention from those who passed by, they knew they had to help. A cat abandoned in the park was hungry, lost and confused.
Megan immediately offered to take him with him, giving the little man a safe and warm place to stay and food to fill his belly.

While rescuing the cat, Finder meets a young woman who had been feeding him for a while. She was relieved to find out he was finally going somewhere safe.
Upon arriving at the rescue, the cat is a cat named Lincoln, after the location he was found. Megan offered him a few seconds.

That night, Lincoln curled up in a new cozy bed in a makeshift “cave” and fell asleep. His belly was full, and for the first time he felt peaceful.
He was naturally nervous after going outside and bravely leaving the street for a few weeks, but Megan decided to win him with what he loved most: food.

For a while, Lincoln groaned as he ate to protect his food due to food insecurity. However, he realized that Megan was a friend and his provider, so his defense gradually softened. He couldn’t resist the delicious snack and soon began to eat directly from her hands.
Despite everything, he continued to devour his meals as if there was no tomorrow.

Over the next few weeks, Megan focused on building Lincoln’s trust. Every time she opened a can of food, he leapt out of the shadows of his “cave” and watched with determination as she filled the plate.
As soon as his meal was served, he quickly began to devour it. Megan grabbed the moment to keep him gently, relieving his worries about food.

Soon, when Lincoln began to trust her, she realized progress. He allowed to interact with her while eating without groaning, and happily took a treat from her hand, using the trash can comfortably in her presence.

Lincoln quickly settled down with his foster parents and discovered his favourite toy, the feathered cane. He sprints on all fours and attacks it, wrestling, and enjoys a truly good life.
