Hello, this is Dr. Karin! Read my introduction to learn more about me and my five funny dogs, Poppy, Bailey, Koda, Ned and Fred.
Christmas 2024 was a big year at our home. My husband got a flashy skull shaver (he was back soon), I got a new fan dangle coffee machine, and Ned & Fred got a new bed. Technically, this small bed is for sale for cats, but what you’ll see as a cat is the size and weight of these two small Chihuahuas combined, and the cat bed looks like the road to go I did.
Ned in particular loves everything fluffy, including beds, blankets, pillows. You gave it a name and he’s curled up in it, so when I found this cute little number online, we knew we had to have it. Within seconds of her husband completing the construction of this little wooden futon with a fluffy cover, Ned and Fred were comfortable. And when I added a bottle of hot water, I think Ned was in heaven.
Sharing is compassionate
Although we weren’t surprised that Chihuahuas love their new cozy presents, we were downstairs to find that Bailey, a 55-pound Labrador, managed to squeeze herself into an 18-inch x 21″ bed We were a little surprised when we came to. It didn’t look physically impossible, but somehow she made it work! Poppy was able to see how comfortable she looked. When she saw it, she decided she was unlikely to miss the opportunity to try out a nice new bed.
She struggled a little more to squeeze the 65 pound frame into Ned & Fred’s bed, but that didn’t stop her from taking long naps!
And of course, if there is one creature in our home that we will never miss something, it is a koda. Sadly, he was too big and too imagination to crush his big butt into this little bed.
Looking at all the dogs (With all different varieties) It’s hard to believe that these images are in the same bed, but I promise you! It’s as if this bed is like a “one ring.” Lord of the Rings It shrinks and grows to fit the fingers of those who have it. Or perhaps like those great jeans Sisters in travel pants? For some reason, the laws of physics have been stopped.
All I can say to you is that the bed is still strong and is not causing any damage despite being the most popular seat in the house. If you’re interested in getting one of these cute little beds, they can be purchased Amazonbut I can’t guarantee they all have the magic to adapt to size as standard!
