One day, a stray cat decides to come into the house. He may not have any teeth, but he has a lot to give.

Cosmo the cat was apparently abandoned when his family moved and wandered the streets for a long time until a kind-hearted resident found the hungry cat and began to help him by feeding him.
She noticed that Cosmo’s eye was infected and the fur on his hind legs was badly tangled and frizzy. By feeding him every day, she gradually gained his trust and he began to open up to her.
Cosmo came home on Sunday and stayed with his caregivers all morning, getting his first petting.

Hoping to return the cat to indoor life, the residents reached out to a local rescue group, the Community Cat Club, for help, and when they arrived, Cosmo walked up to them, as if eager for a change.
“We went right over and placed him easily in his carrier,” the Community Cat Club said. “As soon as he saw us he came over to be petted.”

Cosmo, estimated to be between 8 and 10 years old, was relieved when the mass of matting was removed and finally relieved from the discomfort he had been enduring.
After extensive testing and treatment, he recovered and was moved into a foster home to learn to socialize. “He was nervous about everything that had happened, but this boy is sweet and deserves a home.”

A few days later, Cosmo returned to the vet’s office for some much-needed dental work, only to find that all 18 of his remaining teeth had to be extracted. He went home that day a toothless cat, but feeling much better.
The growling and hissing were gone, replaced by a voracious appetite and a strong will to live.

Cosmo’s mood was visibly brighter after his spa treatment. He loved being brushed and filled the room with soothing purring sounds as he soaked in the pampering. His gentle demeanor and calming manner began to shine through as the walls in his heart slowly came down.
It took weeks of medication, nutrition and close attention before his eyes began to improve.

Once his watery eyes subsided, Cosmo perked up and couldn’t wait to meet the other cats. He quickly became a social butterfly among his peers, demonstrating his friendly and approachable nature.

A lovely woman had fallen in love with him, opening her heart and her home to the right boy, and Cosmo leaned close to her and purred as if he knew he’d finally found his match.
