An orange cat was brought to Howell Township Fire Station on Wednesday after its owner needed firefighters’ help to free the kitten from a car’s muffler. Firefighters quickly got to work, as the cat’s head was wedged tightly in the opening. Unfortunately, the cat’s head was completely trapped inside the muffler.

The cat was so curious that he decided to investigate the scarf, but ended up getting stuck in it. peopleFirefighters had to carefully cut an opening wide enough for the kitten to escape the trap it was in. The rescue was made much easier by one of the personnel petting the kitten the whole time to calm him down.

After making sure there was enough space, the firefighters were able to pull the kitten out of the car’s muffler and finally rescue it. The kitten escaped, but its neck and ears were covered in oil. After being rescued, the kitten was able to return to its owner. However, the oil was difficult to remove and will require extensive cleaning.

Officials said the kitten and the car muffler belonged to the person who brought it in. Both were in good condition and just needed a little love before they were restored. The family returned to the barn with the muffler, and the Howell Area Fire Department was happy to assist with the kitten’s rescue.
