Born into a community cat, kitten quickly discovered a good life once they stepped into a place of comfort and warmth.

Belly and Button, two kittens were born to cats in the garden community. Their future was uncertain until a good Samaritan decided to find them and help them.
For a few days, there was a small chance of survival outdoors. Rescuers stepped in and safely put a small family in their careers, rescued local animals, whipped up like puppies.
Dedicated puppy volunteers Wendy and AJ welcomed the mother and kitten with their arms open, hearing about the need for foster care.

Despite being born in a less-than-ideal environment, the kitten was a sign of the mother’s dedication and was in good condition.
The foster parents provided comfortable and quiet spaces for the feline, but moms were still wary of people and found comfort and safety in the carrier. “Mama is a little spicy and I don’t trust humans yet,” Wendy and AJ shared with Love Mu.

As the kittens grew, they became more curious and bolder. Eventually they left the nest, explored their surroundings, and thrived with new legs to their foster parents.
Mom remained cautious around people, but monitored the kittens and perhaps felt they were safe and caring for them.

Button, a white kitten with a tabby mark on her head, was brave and curious. As soon as her eyes opened and her ears spread, she was separated and wanted to explore the world around her.
Her extroverted personality rubbed off her sister, Berry.

“Kittens are very curious and sweet. They want to play and be around humans and other cats.”
The belly and buttons are fully embraced in indoor life, but the mother keeps careful eyes from a reliable career and observes transformation. The cat sisters are happy to spend time with their foster parents, and insist on every touch they touch.

As they roam the house, their curiosity brings out a playful, naughty side.
Button is always doing something with her brave spirit. She plays with toys half her size and flies around like a small whirlwind. At this age, both kittens are learning to use trash cans and hone their climbing and wrestling skills.

The button often gently grabs her sister, bites her ears and begins to tap. Their wrestling looks like a slow motion dance with the softest grappling movements, as they still find their balance.

Two small beans born in the garden blossomed into playful, curious young cats.
Their mom is still hesitant to protect her, but the kitten has confidence and trust, showing her that their humans will work through their interactions.

Given the second chance, Belly and Button fled the street life struggle. Now in foster parents, they are thriving and enjoying their first Easter weekend in comfort and warmth.
