Our experience
Let’s start this pet product review, one of the most remarkable reviews I’ve been to.
I live in Colorado and experience snow and freezing temperature every year from October to May. In addition, I have a north facility. In other words, my pouch, private road, and sidewalks in front of our house tend to keep ice accumulation.
In our neighborhood, there are many children and dogs that use our sidewalk to reach mailboxes, parks, and trail systems. For them and for my own pets, I always buy pet -safe ice melting. What I did not know after I started studying this article is that all products used in the past are not so safe for pets!
Thanks to the excellent marketing and misleading labels, I did not know that the melting of the ice I used was actually toxic to pets and bad for the environment.
As soon as I received my safe legs, I intersected that it worked with my finger, so there were effective and safe products to actually use.
I first applied it to the porch, but there was a compact snow and ice layer without a shovel after the snow. It worked very well for the snow, spread between granules, and even melted. The only problem I pointed out here was that round granules tended to roll down a small area of ice, and these areas were not fused.
I also applied a liberal amount to the ice -up car truck on my private road and the ice sheet formed every night from the melted snow on my side yard. Safe Paw worked quickly in both areas. The most impressive, however, was that, despite the fact that Meltof was still happening, it hindered the ice from crossing my sidewalk.
In this area, running water pushed the remaining granules to the side. Still, ice is not formed overnight in the area. Many of the products were dissolved, but they maintained the melt -off from freezing despite the lowness of a teenager.
This effect lasted for about three days, which had to repaint the granules to the area. For me, it is worth keeping this product at hand when this ice shete gives the risk of my neighbor’s dog walking and keeping it from posing.
Of course, the fact that it is 100 % safe for pets, plants, waterways, and wildlife is another major plus for me.
My dog had no reaction or side effects from walking on the product. And I knew that it would not have a negative effect on the stream just below the hill from my house, and I felt good to use it freely. This waterway has frogs, crayfish and other small animals. I want to keep it like that.
I am also grateful for the lid that is easily applied to 8 pound containers. My only dissatisfaction is that the granules tend to be clogged in the groove above the lid and are difficult to close. Once you’ve finished to prevent this, you really have to shake them off.
As a whole, I am very satisfied with this product and keep buying it That’s future. I plead for housing with pets and those who care about the environment so that they do not fall into the false ads of other products, and instead use only safe feet to play.

Important function
Some material actually safety
Did you know that most ice -melted products sold as “Pet Safe” are not so safe? Many of these products contain magnesium chloride. Magnesium chloride is harmful to animals that lick or consume or burn the skin.
If you look at the back label of almost all “Pet Safe” ice melting, you will find warnings on intake, eye stimulation, and skin contact.
Safe feet, on the other hand, do not contain magnesium chloride or other harmful components. If they can lick their feet after they walk, they will not poison your pet. In fact, even if you take the product directly, you will not even poison.
The unique ingredient of this ice melter is non -toxic. This “safety” does not apply to pets. It is harmless when used around plants, waterways, children, and sensitive building materials.
Easy to apply
Safe Paw can be easily applied with multiple options to use.
It can be applied to areas where ice is likely to occur before snow prevents ice accumulation. Alternatively, you can spread it on ice and snow to remove it. This unique product begins to dissolve ice in just 10 minutes.
In addition, safe feet are concentrated more than most ice -melted products, so they can be used less. Compared to salt -based ice molten materials, only about half of the safe substance is required to work in the same area.
The 8 -pound container with a safe foot has a lid that is easily applied, so you can easily spread this product. The upper slot controls the granules, but the specially designed flip lid helps spread them to a wider area.
Effective and last long
SAFE PAW uses a unique dual action approach to quickly and continuously dissolve ice.
It starts with granule liquid coating. These components break the tension on the surface and work immediately, and the ice begins to melt the ice the moment the ice comes into contact.
From there, crystal core penetrates the ice due to continuous melting action, even if granules are broken, and becomes unstable.
Each granules also include traction agents that help make ice slippery during melting. Other components of this product can help absorb heat and accelerate the melting process.
One of my favorite features in this product is how much it will last beyond its safety. The material will continue to work for up to 72 hours. Even if the granules were not visible, I found that this was true.
This function makes it ideal for areas where meltoff tends to freeze all night.

Is the safe foot good?
The first thing you notice when searching for a pet -safe ice melt product is that your safe legs are more expensive than in most cases. However, if you look closely, you can see that it is the only option that is safe, harmless to plants, and harmless to the environment. For these reasons, I think it’s a much more valuable purchase, despite the higher price tag.
Testing method
Dogs, north -facing facilities, cold Colorado’s winter help, we tested Safe Paw’s ICE MELTER (8 -pound container).
After a large storm that left about 6 inches of snow, I used the product every day. I tested it on a pouch that was not covered with a shovel, on my private road with ice accumulation from tire trucks, and on my sidewalk that suffers from frozen meltov every night.
I was aware of how long it took for granules to penetrate the ice, how long it took to melt the ice after applying, and how long it took for ice to prevent reform.
We did not test the safety related to product intake (or submitted a dog to take dogs). However, I was very careful about how the product had affected it after walking. And I spent enough time to read data and safety sheets related to the product and its ingredients.
