If you’ve been following me for a while, you know I love taking fun photos of my golden retriever. In the spring of 2024, Kenzo began participating in AKC Dog Sport, known as Fast Cat. As we are actively involved as dog parents, as releases and catchers, I don’t get the chance to take his action shots myself. So I’m so grateful to have a professional photographer on every trial to capture Kenzo’s fun run!
With a loud laugh I got some action shots. They were so intense, so dramatic, honestly… begging for funny captions.
Then I saw the trend in one of my fast cat groups: “Please ask the AI to roast a picture of her dog’s fast cat.” I was interested and I can’t resist the big laugh either. I had to try it. So I uploaded one of Kenzo’s most action-packed shots to ChatGpt and simply asked: “Roast this photo of my dog, Kenzo.”
Let me talk. I wasn’t disappointed.
Roast: What ChatGpt said about Kenzo’s Fast Cat action shot photos
Here’s what ChatGpt came up with when I asked him to roast a picture of Kenzo’s fast cat:
“Kenzo appears to be appearing in a slow motion action movie, but the villain is a squealing toy.
That face? 100% strength.
That floooo? 100% shampoo commercial.
Honestly, he has more drama in this run than the entire reality TV season.
Is he chasing toys or destiny?

So, how perfect is it? It gave me a whole new way to understand and share moments I’m already proud of.

If you want to try it, here’s everything you need to do:
1. Select Fun and dramatic photos Your dog (Zoom, Delp’s face, Jump, etc.)
2. Open chatgpt
3. type:”Roast this photo of my dog“
A brief description of the photo can be included.
For example, “Roasted this photo of my dog Kenzo! This action shot was taken from one of his fast cat exams.”
You’ll be surprised at how smart (and oddly accurate) the roast is. Sometimes it’s mild bullying, sometimes comedy gold.
Creative ways to share roasts online
Once you have returned your dog roast from ChatGpt, don’t store it yourself! Here are some fun ways to share it:
1. Instagram Carousel Post: Use Canva to animate roast lines with lines across multiple slides (what I did – see the post below)
2. Instagram or Tiktok Reel: Overlay roast as dramatic text in music

ChatGpt is your go-to, but there are a few other AI tools that can add interesting twists to your pet photos.
Gemini (Google was a bard before): Like ChatGpt, there is a slightly different humor –

Is Kenzo running towards the snack or is he away from the bath? The strength is obvious!
He looks down at Pat, “I am beauty, I am blessed, I have something fluffy in my face.”
Kenzo is clearly auditioning for the next action movie. Title suggestion: “Golden Blur: Angry Foot.” He nails a shot of dramatic hair blown away.
Look at its focus! Is it a squirrel? An unfair treat? What does life mean? Whatever that is, Kenzo is in it.
He’s not just running. He’s gliding. Kenzo is sure he thinks the floor is lava, but only three out of four legs.

He was so fast, the camera could hardly handle the greatness. Or maybe he’s just trying to overtake his shadow.
