Earlier this month, a rescuer shared the heartbreaking story of a mother cat, affectionately named Biscuit, who lost all of her precious kittens. However, the cat remained strong-willed and helped raise several motherless kittens who were in desperate need of a mother to nurse them. Despite grieving the loss of her kittens, the mother cat went on to raise several more kittens, becoming a “hero” to the kittens who had lost their mother.

On August 5, a TikTok user Follow A mother cat posted a tear-jerking video after losing her kittens. The story of the creator and the pregnant cat begins with Biscuit approaching her mother. The rescuer knew that Biscuit was close to giving birth and couldn’t bring herself to leave her mother behind. Even after a good Samaritan brought the mother home, the kitten couldn’t stop “making biscuits” and was named Biscuit.

Biscuit quickly gave birth to six adorable tabby kittens, whom the rescuers lovingly named “Pastry.” The kittens were “growing” healthy until a stray cat broke into the house. The cat attacked Biscuit and the kittens, leaving a horrifying scene that sent the rescuers into a panic. She was rushed to the emergency room, but when she returned home, Biscuit was waiting for her outside.

The author felt it would be of no use to remind the mother cat of the horrific sight she witnessed and lost her kittens, so she contacted the foster home to ask if they needed a nursing mother cat. With kitten season underway, it was no surprise that the organization was in desperate need. Thus, the cat was able to meet the foster kittens. The mother cat lost six kittens, but in return, she welcomed nine kittens into her home.

The tabby cat gladly accepted the orange kittens as her own and raised them with lots of love. To the motherless kittens, this cat was a “true hero” because without her, the kittens might have died.
