When the pit bull was brought to the shelter, she was shaking for 24 hours. She had a foul odor from her delicate skin, which was inflamed with scabies. Her swollen feet were full of staph infections and her gritty eyes were clogged with infectious gunk. Given her condition, it was likely that she would have to be euthanized. The shelter never named the dying pit bull, and she spent most of her time hiding behind a lonely cage. One day, a woman named Audra Spurio came to adopt her two-year-old daughter Gigi’s companion dog.

Pitbull believed she was unnoticed by the rest of humanity, but Gigi pointed at her and screamed.
“Mom, that’s it.“
Gigi tugged on Audra’s coat and led her to the poor pit bull, where Gigi gently petted Audra out of sympathy. After Audra showed Gigi the other dogs, the young man returned to the sick Pitti three times, eventually pleading with him to let him out and save him. The rescue team took her out of her kennel, cleaned her, and let her play with them. Gigi in the garden.

The two quickly became amazing friends as they played together for hours. The pit bull was always attached to Gigi, and Gigi kept reminding Audra:sick dog” I needed support.

As the pit bull continued to shake violently every time it was separated from Gigi, Audra cried and begged her mother to save the puppy. Audra gave in to Gigi’s heartfelt pleas and brought home her pit bull, Scarlett, whom she named after Scarlett O’Connor. Once the sick dog arrived at the shelter, he was finally able to go home.

Within a week of taking possession of the home, Scarlett’s health began to improve. She spent every waking moment with Gigi, never taking her eyes off him.

Scarlett recovers over time as a result of Gigi’s dedicated efforts to save her and grows into Gigi’s trusted companion.
