About a month ago, Greenpoint Cats received an urgent message about a Tabby Cat that remains in a carrier near the trash bin.
The viewfinder rushed to take the cat inside from the rain. As they opened up their careers, they saw a frightened little man, his eyes smacking around desperately. Despite everything he was enduring, he didn’t hiss and had no average bones in his body.
The Greenpoint Cats volunteers got caught up in the action and offered their help.

He arrived at his foster home. There, his foster parents set up a comfortable, quiet space for him to decompress.
For the first few days, he was terrified with wide eyes, staying in his career, reluctant to explore. He was briefly surprised when his foster parents tried to pet him, but slowly he warmed up to her soothing voice, accepting her touch and began to relax.

It is unclear exactly why the cat was abandoned, but he will not spend another day outside.
“There’s clearly a big problem considering the majority of male cats we save are not castrated, and NYC needs to provide more education and access to affordable castration and castration services. There is,” GreenPoint Cats shares.

With food available around the clock and the presence of kind human beings, cats have now started to realize that they have to hide anymore. When he found the courage to venture, his adorable self began to emerge.
After exploring every corner of the room, he felt comfortable enough to stand tall, his ears no longer flat. He began to communicate with cheerful trills and chirps.

Inspired by the sweet cooling sound he made, they lovingly named him the Dove. As his confidence grew, he spoke up more and sparkled his quirky, loving personality.
“This sweet boy loves to chat all day long and keep the company going.”

His eyes were completely melted away, replacing hints of joy, playfulness and mischief. “Pigeon always stands up for good play sessions, but she also knows how to relax: she’s taking a nap on a cat tree, sunbathing on a rug, and curl up close.”
I got my feet with a catnip toy and rubbed my entire face.

When he felt his foster parents had been on the computer for a long time, he gently reminded him to take a walk and settle on the keyboard, taking a break.
The pigeon immediately blossomed into a lively, loving cat that didn’t want to be alone.

“He even chases you into the bathroom to oversee your everyday life with a small shadow that loves to be close to your favorite people.”
“He enjoys other cat companies and even tolerate dogs, making a huge addition to multi-pet homes.”

The resident cat warmly accepted him and snuggled up whenever he needed the company. “He not only tolerate pets and hugs, but actually enjoys them. The pigeons are the perfect mix of stupid and sweet things.”
It didn’t take long for the pigeon to wiggle his path in the hearts of his family.

Thanks to the kindness of his rescuers and many volunteers, Pigeon found his eternal home, along with his family who cherished him and endlessly ruined him.
