A family opened their home to two rescue cats and quickly realized how deeply dependent they were on each other.

Two feline brothers, Welly (tabby) and Wally (black), arrive at Best Friends Animal Society (Los Angeles) hoping for a chance at a better life.
Welly was nervous and confused, shivering in the corner of his kennel. His younger brother, Wally, was calmer and more cheerful, despite his slitted eyes. “They had flea dirt on them so we thought it was likely that they were found outside before being taken to the shelter,” their foster parent Frankie told Love Meow. Ta.
Shortly after arriving at the foster home, their demeanor changed, especially Welly’s.

“As soon as they were adopted, they started to feel at home and safe. Once Welly knew he was in a safe place, he went from being anxious to being the sweetest little boy. Ta.”
He switched on his purring motor, rediscovered his screeching sound, and eagerly sought attention. Within a few days, he went from a trembling kitten to a purring machine.

All the while, Wally remained as calm as a cucumber, completely unfazed by the eye treatment.

Welly snuggles up to Wally and playfully pins him down with his arms to clean his face.

The two share an inseparable bond, one is invisible without the other. Like prank partners, they run around the room, causing all sorts of antics. When exhausted, they curl up together and fall asleep.

Welly searches for his little brother, making sure he’s always nearby. Wally leans against Welly for comfort, often resting his head on Welly like a pillow
“They love napping on my lap, fighting and playing, climbing on the scratching board, and cuddling with each other. I can’t think of a more perfect pair to complete our home and family.” yeah.”

When Wally was old enough, his left eye was removed to improve his quality of life. As soon as he came out of surgery, Welly went straight to him and snuggled right next to him.

A once capricious cat has grown up to be the “cutest boy in the world”. Wellies love to be held by humans and absorb a lot of affection.
“No one grows up in a kennel, which is one reason why fostering is so important. Welly has always been a cuddly, happy boy. He lets his true self shine through. We needed the right environment.”

From day one, Frankie wanted the two brothers to be together. Yesterday, their dream came true.
