Even after finding one kitten, they never gave up searching for the rest of the stray cat’s family.

Megan, president of PuppyKittyNYCity, received a call about a newborn kitten abandoned by a local cat. The discoverer waited for the mother to return, but she never returned.
When Megan arrived to pick up the kitten, named Deco, the kitten was cold to the touch and had to be taken to the emergency room. “Despite all the love, care, and effort, sometimes our best efforts are not enough,” Megan said.
After losing Deco, Megan made it her mission to find the rest of her family so they could have a better life.

She was notified that Deco’s mother and brother had been found. Every day, before and after work, Megan loaded everything she needed into her car and headed to the job site.
On the first day, she was unable to find her mother, but was able to rescue several other cats from the colony.

The next day she returned and managed to bring two more cats to safety, but the mother cat remained out of reach. “We will not give up,” she added.
On the third day, the kittens were found in an outdoor stray cat shelter. Megan used a humane trap to get the mother to safety and immediately scooped up the three kittens, who remembered Deco.

“We captured a total of 10 cats and kittens from this one garden. It took a lot of effort, time and patience.”
When volunteer Alyssa learned that a cat family was in need of a foster home, she took immediate action. She set up a quiet, calming space for the timid mother so she could care for her kittens undisturbed.

In just a few days, the kitten’s eyes opened and she began eagerly wandering around to explore the nest. “Mama Isabella is very shy and hides when I’m near, but the kittens come crawling when they hear my voice.”
Sophia (brown tabby) quickly showed that she had a set of pipes and led the way with a squeaky voice, while her brothers Oz (tuxedo) and Victor (brown and white tabby) followed in her footsteps. .

The three of them rolled around happily, stretching their little legs every time I rubbed their bellies. They began their perfect steps as Sophia led the adventure with her playful antics.
Once they were old enough to venture beyond the nest, they learned to be cats by exploring the water and food bowls, taking small sips and nibbles.

Oz took a sip of water first, felt refreshed, and took another sip. Sofia quickly joined him and didn’t miss a beat. “She and her siblings are now running around, exploring, and are starting to love attention from humans.”
One day, the trio participates in a rescue event and returns home with a new crew member.

A calico cat named Butterball needed a friend. The trio sheltered her, letting her run around and sharing toys. “Now she has friends to play with. They’re a little smaller than her, but they keep her energy up.”
Now that the kittens are weaned and more independent, Isabella can finally focus on herself.

The kittens took up their favorite perches on the humans’ knees, shoulders, and backs. After running around, chasing feather toys, and climbing on furniture, they love to cuddle with their foster parents while blaring their purring motors.
“Oz has the most unique polka dots on his feet and face.”
