The dog that escaped from a plane at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, causing the airport’s two runways to be closed, has finally been found and reunited with its owner after nine days.

On November 19, a female dog named Amarka, owned by an Austrian tourist who flew to France from Vienna on Air France, escaped from her carrier cage while being unloaded. CBS News I will report it.

“This animal has been spotted and approached several times, but so far we have not been able to capture it.” This was announced by Air France.

After Amalka’s escape, several search parties were launched at night and in the presence of Amalka’s owner, with Air France paying for her hotel in Charles de Gaulle.

Missing dog posters were also put up around the airport to alert staff.

And on Tuesday, November 26, authorities at France’s largest and busiest airport closed two runways in an attempt to capture Amarca.

On the same day, airport police deployed a search drone to search for the missing pet.

And their plan was to get close enough to the dog that they could calm it down with a hypodermic needle. CBS News I will report it.

After nine long days, Amarka was finally found and reunited with her owner.

“After several days of intense searching, we are pleased to confirm that Amalka has been located and returned to her owners.” Air France said in a statement to AFP.

According to a French daily newspaper, le parisian dailyAmalka was found in a park in Danmartin an Goele, a town near the airport.

After Amalka was reunited with her owner, Air France said: “We’ll both be able to head to our final destinations soon.”

A similar incident occurred last year when an airport worker at the Atlanta airport lost a passenger’s dog. While being transferred to the plane, staff accidentally opened the dog’s kennel and the dog escaped.

The dog had been missing for almost a month, from August 18th to September 9th, and was discovered by animal welfare volunteers who had posted missing dog flyers around the airport.
