Hello, this is Dr. Karin! Read my introduction, learn more about me and meet my five cheerful cats: Clutch, Cyril, Alex, Zelda, and Zazuls.

Among Alex’s adorable features is his quirky, expressive front legs. The first few times I noticed him sitting with his little legs still crossed, but I didn’t think about it much. But it happened again and again. Considering that I only took a few photos of the time I witnessed this funny little pose (and these are not all the photos I have!), I think how often he assumes this position. i can only imagine.

In fact, I say he’s sitting with his front legs and crossed more frequently than he doesn’t.

And it turns out that when he isn’t crossing his delicate little torts, he often hangs them from the shelf.

The most important part of my role here at Catstar is to help you, our lovely reader. Unfortunately, I don’t know why he does that! But considering that we are talking about the cat that brought about the happiness somersault, we don’t know what logical place the answer is!

Everything is ready

Alex can fly a bit when he isn’t willing to stretch his body from wall to wall, especially if there are visitors in the house. Perhaps crossing his front legs makes him ready to turn and run in all directions…but I think I might have reached it. Speaking of reaching, is this another way to get your legs ready to be ready for a quick escape?

Maybe I’m just trying to find logic that’s not possible! After all, did Alex have a chance for normalcy with Cyril as his role model?

When faced with normal and strange choices, I intend to choose the strange thing every time. With my quirky cats and strange dogs, this is fortunate as life in our home is unlikely to become normal!

I love hearing stories about cat eccentric, charming, and weird habits, so if your cat family has some quirky behavior, please send me a message in the comments below Please send it.
