Shortly after bringing home a pregnant cat, she had kittens in her room and was ready for a new start.

About 4 weeks ago, a pregnant cat came to Best Friends Felines in need of a new start. She immediately opened up to everyone and showed how much she appreciated the attention she received.
“We named her Brielle. She is the most adorable little lady with gorgeous blue eyes, a stunning cream color, and an adorable big purr,” Best Friends Feline shared.
Brielle was overjoyed to be placed in a foster home, snuggled up to her family and soaked up all the love. “She loves to be petted and cuddled, and will roll over on her back and rub her tummy.”

Feeling at ease in her new space, Brielle began preparing for the future. “She decided she had had enough and went into labor very quietly in the corner of the room. A few hours later, five beautiful kittens were being washed and cared for by their doting mother. took everything in stride.”
This is Brière’s first birth and likely her last. Soon, after raising the kitten, she will enjoy being a cat again and do what she loves.

“We have two cream-colored pups like mom, one little gray baby, and two striped tabby dogs.” In two weeks, she nearly tripled in weight.

When their eyes opened, the kittens became more curious and active, but were still finding their footing. Although Brielle cherished kittens, she also craved human affection. “She’s so proud to show off her baby to visitors who come into her room.”
She spent more time resting with the kittens, cuddling next to her foster parents, but always within arm’s reach in case the babies were needed.

The three-week-old kittens are growing rapidly and gaining the confidence to venture outside the nest. They discovered their voice and weren’t shy about using it.
If she was separated from her mother for even a few seconds to be weighed, she would cry until she was right back at her mother’s side.

They playfully wrestled each other, rolled around, and waved their little limbs in the air. As they learned to groom themselves and their siblings, their personalities began to shine through.
“Tank (the big tabby) is the noisiest and pushiest. Wombat and Stormy (the two white babies) are the calmest, and Lizzie (gray) and Zoe (the little tabby) are just happy to eat, sleep, etc. , hug me in my lap. I’ll leave it to Brielle.”

The kittens are growing fast and Tank is leading them on all their adventures. “He started playing in the kitty litter box. Brielle had to nudge him every now and then (to help him climb out).”
