Are you looking for a professional pet photographer to capture photos of you and your dog on a hike or to take end-of-life portraits for your senior, adventurous dog?
If so, be sure to check it out Tales & Trails Pet Photos.
Recently, I had the opportunity to photograph myself and my three dachshunds with Bea.
I usually hike alone with my kids so I don’t have many photos of them together.
I also felt a strong urge to document special moments with my senior dachshund because, sadly, she has entered a stage in life where we are “on the brink” of having limited time to adventure together.
I absolutely love how the photos turned out and was super excited to find out Summit had earned a spot in the header of her website.

Our photography experience
Bee and I together chose a spot that wouldn’t snow at this time of year, was in the woods, and close enough to the road so that we wouldn’t be tired and sweaty when we arrived.
Beforehand we discussed the types of shots I wanted to capture, we went over how the process would work, and we discussed each dog’s personality and what challenges we would face in getting them to hold a position and look at the camera.
We met at a location that gave us the opportunity for a “hike” and some riverside photos.
Bea captured moments with me and the dogs, as well as moments when the dogs were alone.
We revamped our social media profiles with photos of all four of us (none of which had ever featured our newest family member, Otter) and shared other photos on social media.
Overall, I was happy with the experience and would definitely recommend Bee at Tails & Trails Pet Photo if you live in the Seattle-Tacoma area and are looking for photos of your dog that you will cherish forever.
