A permanent seat on the puppy bus he was chasing until a few months ago, and a forever home. That’s the life Waylon the yellow Labrador has been living since he was found as an abandoned dog chasing the puppy bus in July.
Waylon was the first Keller Creek Boarding and GroomingThe dog care service in Carnesville, Georgia, was bringing in canine clients for doggy daycare.
No one knows how long Waylon was on the streets before dog protection services found him.
In a Facebook post, Keller Creek Boarding and Grooming wrote about their encounter with Waylon: “He was trying to catch the bus this morning on the Brown Street bus route in Carnesville. He followed us the whole way. We’re worried he’s going to get hit by another vehicle.”

The video reportedly caught the attention of Said Peace, a customer at Keller Creek Boarding & Grooming.
Keller Creek Boarding & Grooming Follow-up Update, “One of our clients contacted us this morning about him and decided he would be a perfect fit for their home.”
Peace already has a yellow Labrador named Neri. 11 Alive, “I was checking the Keller Creek Facebook page every day because I send Neri (Waylon’s sister) there and I saw a post about a Labrador chasing a bass so I reached out.”
Apparently, Waylon wasn’t a completely stray cat, but was in a place where a neighbor would feed him.
“I contacted the girl and told her I wanted to date him. That night, me and my boyfriend took Nelly to go meet him, and the minute we got there and saw him, we decided we were going to bring him home.” Let me explain about peace.
Peace said she took Waylon to the vet for a checkup and vaccinations.
Now, just a few weeks after being adopted, Keller Creek Boarding and Grooming has revealed that Waylon has finally had his first official day at daycare and earned a permanent seat on the puppy bus.
Peace reveals, “We knew we were going to take him because his sisters love going to Keller Creek, and he made it very clear that he wanted to be on the bus that day chasing his sisters.”
