Chloe bought an all-inclusive home last year, but little did she know there was a cat in the house. The story began from there.

While sharing her journey on TikTok @chloeisagshe noticed a calico cat hopping around her backyard, seemingly making the place her home. She said in the video that she had never had a pet before, but wanted to make friends with a cat.

She fed the cat canned food, but the calico kept her distance from the cat. After a while, she returned to check on the food, only to find that it was all gone.

When Chloe spotted the cat again, hanging out and relaxing outside, she hurried to get the cat’s food dish. She slowly brought the stray cat closer to her balcony, feeding it regularly.

The calico cat felt safe with the food provider, so she mustered up the courage to approach Chloe and even allowed herself to be petted.

Over time, the cat became accustomed to humans and would “knock” on the door, requesting food and attention.

For a while, Chloe wondered whether she should get a cat. She had no intention of taking on any responsibilities other than plants. One day, she received a case of cat food from a co-worker who had accidentally ordered the wrong food.

The calico cat licked the plate clean, savoring each bite. Chloe took that as a sign.

While sorting out things in the house, Chloe found photos of her deceased owner’s cats, one of which looked like a stray cat. It was a coincidence. And then the day her sister (who is allergic to cats) moved in, we somehow found out she wasn’t allergic to calico cats.

“My sister finally convinced me to adopt a ‘feral’ cat that was stuck in a small area of our backyard. After bringing her inside, we were in for a surprise.”

Chloe woke up one day to find five more kittens in the house. This calico cat, affectionately named “Finder’s Keeper”, gave birth to several kittens in the comfort of her home.

They were surprised by the turn of events, but were glad that the mother and her baby were safe.

The calico cat fed the kittens, kept them clean and showered them with unconditional love. With her little ones by her side, she happily stretched her paws into the air, filling the room with contented purrs.

Over the next few weeks, the kittens reached one milestone after another and began leaving the nest for adventures.

By the time they were weaned, their playful and mischievous side was showing. Their mother watched from the sidelines as five bundles of energy raced around the house and rolled across the floor.

When the kittens were old enough to spread their wings and fly, a wonderful home was prepared for them. Mama Finders Keepers are neutered and will never have to raise children again.

Four of the kittens went home with their new families and took every inch of them as their own.
