For many dogs, dog doors are fun and give them the freedom to come and go in and out of the house whenever they want.
But for one rescue dog at the Michigan Humane League, dog doors are no fun at all.

He is an English bulldog/pit bull terrier mix who had a rough start in life as he was picked up as a stray. But that doesn’t stop his zest for life.

A look at his profile shows that his warm and outgoing personality is sure to win people’s hearts. It’s already proven that the internet is obsessed with him.
As you know, Arnold was recently moved to a new kennel. It had a clear plastic dog door that allowed him to come and go at any time.
However, Arnold is different from other dogs. What other dogs see as a door to freedom, Arnold sees as his nemesis.
Sanfilippo said: “Arnold was pretty confused at the dog door.”
“We tried putting treats on the other side to tempt him, and having staff push him inside to show him it was okay, but he remained quite wary.” he added.
in TikTok videos Officials said the post was posted by an animal shelter. “Arnold just moved into a new kennel.”
The video then cuts to Arnold staring at the dog door with a confused expression, and the staff member says: “He doesn’t know how to get through the dog door yet. He might need some tips. Can someone please help my son?”
Now, Arnold is no longer afraid of the dog door. So his next move was to pick a fight at the door.
In a follow-up video, Arnold can be seen biting down on a plastic dog door with such force that a staff member says: “You’re an interesting person, Arnold.”
While we lament the demise of plastic dog doors, the internet is falling head over heels against dog door vandals as Arnold continues to be hostile to plastic dog doors.
“Does Arnold know he’s a star?” one TikTok user wrote. “How to overcome fear, Arnold! We’re so proud of you.” another person wrote.
Another user wrote: “There is a very special family out there waiting for this little man and his enthusiastic take on life.”
Sanfilippo revealed that 120 adoption applications have been filed due to Arnold’s “feud” with Doggy Door.
“Obviously, he can only go to one home, but it’s great to see him taking an interest in our shelter and potentially adopting other animals as well.” Sanfilippo said.
Arnold has a lot of applications, so it’s likely he’ll soon meet his forever family, say goodbye to his shelter nemesis, and find a new enemy to fight through his canine days.
