A kind person rescued a group of cats who lost their only home. To my surprise, one of them had a kitten.

Seven cats were found outside the house after their owner sadly passed away. They were lost, scared, and had nowhere to go, until a kind-hearted person met them.

When Samuel went to work, he was shocked to find a hungry and thirsty cat in his garden. “He gave them water, and they drank it right away,” said Chatons-Orphérins-Montreal.

“When I went to the convenience store to buy canned food, the cats ate it all up.”

He knew the cats couldn’t stay there, so he took matters into his own hands. “He decided to secure all seven and keep them in his home until a rescuer could be found.”

He rented a humanitarian trap and returned to the scene with canned food. The hungry cats were quickly drawn in and taken one by one to safety.

Samuel took the sickest cats to Chatons Orphélins Montreal for immediate treatment. To my surprise, while I was caring for the remaining six kittens at home, one of them, Lila, gave birth to three kittens.

His house was already full and the shy mother cat was in dire need of a quiet place to raise her kittens.

The caring volunteers of Chatons Orphérins Montréal stepped up once again to arrange a foster home for a family of four. “At first I was very nervous and didn’t let anyone get close to her. Her kitten was 10 days old and underweight.”

They immediately put Laila on a nutritious diet to improve her milk production.

The kittens started gaining weight and their energy levels skyrocketed. “Their foster family is taking great care of the kittens and weighs them daily. They have two girls, Dottie and Iris, and one boy, Narcisse.”

Although the mother cat was timid, she accepted human help and allowed them to be around her babies.

Lila started taking treats with a wooden spatula and slowly came out of her shell. Thanks to careful care and endless feeding, she grew more confident day by day and soon felt comfortable enough to leave the kittens to replenish her energy and relax.

As soon as the kittens found their feet, they began exploring the room, wary of their mother.

Lila no longer hides and spends her days relaxing and having fun with her kittens. She keeps the cats perfectly clean and teaches them all the basics of being a cat.

The kittens have grown quickly. Although they are now able to feed themselves, they still want to pet their mother and reassure her.

Thanks to rescuers and volunteers, these three kittens are growing up knowing nothing but comfort and love.

At two months old, they entered their mischievous stage of zoomies and antics. The trio is constantly on the move, running, jumping, and wrestling each other until they are exhausted from all the shenanigans.

While the kittens are busy honing their feline skills, Lila watches from the sidelines as they begin to focus on their own needs and learn to appreciate love and attention from their humans.
