A woman was taking her child to school.
Looking to help, the viewfinder scooped her out of the street and brought her home. If she could see her closely, she was surprised to find that she only had two small ones.
Despite being born without hind legs, the kitten was fine and moved around comfortably using its front legs.

Worried that the kitten might need extra care, Finder contacted her online community to help.
“When I saw her photos and videos, I knew I had to help her. I wanted to make sure she was hired by someone who could get medical care and create the accommodation she needed for her,” Ashley, director of Rebation Cat House (All Volunteer Rescue), told Lovemeu.

A fellow volunteer Jen stepped in and took the kitten to the vet. She was instantly captivated by her cheerful attitude. “I could say she had a big personality from the start. She was very vocal and confident.”
The moment the kitten left her career, she wanted to explore.
She uses two front legs to balanceliberationcathouse
“The vet took an x-ray and showed that she has a fully formed spine and pelvis, but lacks both the legs behind. Instead of one back leg, she has a small stump that is almost cartilage. She can’t walk through it.
“The vet decided this was a congenital issue, so she has always been navigating the world this way.”

“When she came to me, I was impressed that she was able to use her front legs to balance and walk, and then she realized that she didn’t know what was different.

For the first time in her life, Saoirse has unlimited food, a safe environment, and a caring person, ensuring that she is happy, healthy and loved.

Saoirse hasn’t slowed down a bit, despite missing legs on one side and a small stump on the other. She learns the skills to balance her forefoots and is able to reach where she places her mind.
“The way she zips with two legs is amazing. I especially love her confidence. She’s not afraid to demand what she wants. I’m here for that.”
