A kind-hearted stray cat longs for a comfortable indoor life, and finally gets his wish fulfilled. He couldn’t be happier.

Harvey the cat lived as a feral cat for some time, enduring the harsh conditions of the outdoors and protecting himself from other animals.
A good Samaritan who cares for local community cats first noticed the cat when it started visiting her garden in search of food, and soon returned for more. He was fixed up with the help of local rescue teams and continued to be fed daily by his kind caregivers.
Over time, she noticed changes in the cat as it became curious and interested in her home.

“Since being neutered, Harvey has longed for a comfortable life indoors,” the Stray Cat Club said.
I knew I wouldn’t be able to continue caring for Harvey since I already cared for so many cats and was moving, but I was determined to give Harvey a fresh start. She found a rescuer who promised to find him a loving forever home.

Harvey came to our foster home through the Stray Cat Club. Within the first hour of being there, his laid-back, easy-going personality began to shine through. He snuggled up next to his foster mother and took a much-needed nap, making up for lost sleep.

Estimated to be between 4 and 9 years old, Harvey is a funny cat who is always looking for the coziest spot in the house where he can fall into a long sleep. “If you lose him, don’t worry. Just check the fluffiest bed or couch and he’ll be there, dozing off in bliss.”
After thorough examination by two veterinarians, it was concluded that Harvey was born with unique eyes.

“It doesn’t cause him any pain or discomfort, it just adds to his character.”
Harvey, who had probably spent most of his life wandering the streets, was overjoyed to be in a safe and comfortable nursing home. He began to keep an eye on his men wherever they were and accompany them as they went about their day.

“Thankfully, his most difficult days are behind him. This sweet boy loves human company and will happily follow you around or sit next to you for a pat on the head or belly. I will.”
Although he enjoys having people close, he quickly learned to avoid a vacuum – but who can blame him?

Harvey seems to love the outdoors. He lounges comfortably on his cat tree throne or by the window, basking in the warm sunlight and watching the world go by.
“He is a very sociable cat and would fit perfectly into a family with children and other cats. He has a really sweet and loving personality.”

Harvey starts playing with toys and rediscovering his inner kitten, but most of all he wants to spend the day snoozing away, dreaming of a world where his food bowl is never empty and his bed is always comfortable. I love it.

With a human by his side, Harvey now purrs with a satisfaction he’s never felt before.
Every day he wakes up to see familiar faces and knows all is well with the world.
