A few days later, they found a missing cat. When she saw the kitten again, she immediately went to work.

About a week ago, Kelsey, a dedicated foster parent volunteer at Indyhumane, received a call about trash from a kitten desperately needed a bottle feeder. “They arrived at the shelter after they closed, but I quickly took them to assess their condition,” Kelsey shared with Mee of Love.
The 10-day-old kitten was brought in without a mother. Their eyes were almost closed and their ears folded, but they were vigilant and in good shape. They quickly began hissing with an unfamiliar scent, a natural instinct to protect themselves.

Once the kitten settled in a cozy incubator to regulate their temperature, Kelsey tried to bottle them, which was of no use.
“Every two or three hours, I kept trying and they didn’t participate. Almost 24 hours later, I had to start tube feeding. This should only be done by trained individuals.”

While doing everything possible, Kelsey embracing her mother’s cat grooming, using a toothbrush (to make her feel a little more comfortable), she embraced the hope that her mother would still be found.
“If you find a stray cat, it may be that your mother is taking care of her nearby if she appears clean, quiet and healthy. “If possible, lock her mother and baby together. Protecting her family gives the kitten the best chance of survival.”

With painstaking care and sleepless nights from Kelsey and another volunteer Miranda, the kitten finally began hanging the bottle.
Two days after no news about mom, they worried they wouldn’t be able to find her. Then on the third day they received the news they wanted.
They found mom’s cat and met her againKelsey
“After tireless care, we got the news we wanted. We were locked up for several months. The moment she was brought in, she sniffed Great, quickly rolled over and was ready to take care of the baby again.”
Kelsey was able to finally sigh in relief. I knew that kittens had the best chance of life. “I don’t know who’s more excited,” Kelsey added.
Kelsey
“They got 10-15 grams overnight and have been growing under her care ever since. She was a little nervous, but we treated her baby easily and started squealing at us as we entered the room.”
“They are the happiest babies I’ve seen and they deserve it.”
Kelsey
The kitten is excited to return to her mother’s embrace. With their eyes open, they remain more active and interested in the world around them.
Another volunteer, Jennifer, created a comfortable nursery for the feline, ensuring the perfect environment for moms to raise her youth.
Kelsey
“On arriving at her house, Mom quickly relaxed in her new space, first started turning, and she had a tendency to her baby.
Mom is incredibly attentive and dots kittens around the clock. With new strength, little ones roll like Lori Polly, clinging to their mothers, competing for the nurses for the best place.
Kelsey
In a few weeks, they begin their adventure beyond the nest and leave their mother on their toes.
Reunion of your mom and kitten is the best possible outcome of rescue. Now they are thriving as a family in a warm, loving foster home.
