A blind kitten who once got lost outside now melts every heart he touches and becomes incredibly friendly with another cat.

Despite spending several of her nine lives, Flannel the Kitten never let anything hold her back and continued to love everyone she met.
He was blind due to a severe upper respiratory tract infection and was found wandering alone. Volunteers at Tails High School quickly sprang into action when they saw the urgent need for rescue.
Within days of being placed in foster care, Flannel blossomed into the ultimate love bug. “From the moment he was rescued, he was rubbing his adoptive mother all over her body, kissing her and booing her on the head,” a rescue worker said.

Flannel felt completely at home, crawling into people’s laps and showering her with endless love. “He was obviously going through a lot, but he was gutting it all out.”
“We don’t know how Flannel learned to go outside and protect herself when she was sick and blind, but at some point Flannel learned about human touch and companionship. I know it must have been.”

Flannel, who was blind, skillfully drew a map of his surroundings. He confidently walked around the house, climbed the stairs, and used the bathroom with ease.
After eye surgery, Flannel feels much better and is jumping around with new energy. “Even though he had a very difficult start in life and went through many struggles before being rescued, he never slowed down.”

Flannel was incredibly friendly with the other kittens, with the cats jumping on his head while he played and cuddling with him while he took a nap. “He is a sweet pea to every human and kitten he meets and wants nothing more than love.”
He was the talk of the town at every meet-and-greet, snuggling into the laps of prospective employees and performing high jumps. Despite being blind, he never missed a step.

Then he caught Betsy’s eye and immediately wrapped her around his little legs.
“She explained the type of kitten she was looking for and the heartbreak she was dealing with losing her most special senior kitten. And we just had a hunch…Flannel was her son.”

Flannel strutted around her new home, full of unbridled energy. Soon he was moving around like a ninja, jumping around and climbing on tall furniture.
His fearless attitude and curiosity make him a great companion and traveling companion.

“He greets building residents in the lobby, distracts his mother from work, smells the city by his favorite window, and lives his best life.”
Flannel always wanted a constant friend, so when Betsy brought home her new cat brother, Ava, he was instantly smitten.

Abba was very shy at first at unfamiliar sights and sounds and took shelter behind the sofa. With a good TV show and enough patience, he slowly came out of his shell. But the real magic happened when I met flannel.
Perhaps Flannel’s confidence and friendliness eased his fears and gave him courage he didn’t know he had.

After a proper nuzzle and hello, they quickly became friends. They started running around the house and sharing toys and adventures. Exhausted by the whirlwind of play, they curled up side by side and fell asleep to the sound of harmonious purrs.
As Abba wraps him up and washes his face, the flannel melts.

Abba loves her younger brother, who is completely infatuated with him. They are joined at the hip and spend every moment together.
