After a long trip through rush hour traffic, an orange cat with a cleft nose and a thick mat on its back arrived at Tales, ready for a fresh start.

For many years, the cat Cosmic Cowboy was badly ignored. When he was discovered, he was covered in fleas and dirt, desperately in need of love and care. “His matte fur was something we had never seen before,” Tails High shared.

When they took him to the vet, the staff went the extra mile and stayed late to make sure he was comfortable and headed for recovery.

“The filthy clumps of hair that had gathered together with dandruff and flea stains had fallen by his side as he lost balance and even tried to walk and make biscuits.”

The Cowboy was the champion throughout his first veterinary visit. Despite everything he was enduring, he was well up and the staff kneaded the blanket as he had a tendency to him. They also found that he had a mild case of cerebellarplasia, but he did not slow him down.

After carrying the enormous knots that had pulled his skin for years, he was very relieved to be released from them in the end. He even had a cozy new shirt that kept him warm.

“The cosmic cowboy has got a great haircut and feels brand new. This adorable guy will make air biscuits wherever he goes and put a smile on your face. We adore him.”

Over the course of several months he added to a good life. His gorgeous orange coat grew, and he blossomed himself. Then one day he met another cat named Bo Peep. He was extremely shy and could use his courage.

From that moment onwards, something beautiful began to unfold.

Peep towed the kitten to the Tails High. Although she was a devoted mother, she remained extremely shy around people who often hide from human contact. “A few months after calming people down, we introduced her to a confident friend.”

Soon they realized that what she needed was a big cat sibling.

Her cats all found their eternal home, but Peep was still on her socialization journey. Despite her vigilance, the presence of another cat who worshiped human relationships gave her the security she needed.

“She recently moved in with a Cosmic Cowboy. They hit it right away.”

“The 10-year-old space cowboy and the 2-year-old Bo Peep are certainly unique duoes. They get a lot of joy from each other’s company and embrace and play.

With no more hidden, Peep continues with Cowboy everywhere and joins all his adventures.

“Unexpected friendships are so much fun to experience nurturing. It’s really heartwarming to see how kittens from different backgrounds and experiences come together and find each other in their foster homes.”
