I don’t always make Halloween dog treats, but when I do, I like them to be easy to make.
I mean, I love having fun with my dogs, but I don’t like cooking and I don’t want to spend a lot of time in the kitchen.
Here are three of my favorite Halloween dog treat recipes.
I hope you all enjoy it as much as I do.
Easy Halloween-themed dog treats your pup will love
These no bake Halloween dog treat recipes are a hit in my house with me and the dogs.
Unlike most dog treat recipes, it does not contain peanut butter, making it perfect for dogs with allergies.
No matter which recipe you choose, once you have all the ingredients, it will only take about 5 minutes to make.
However, keep in mind that jello shots and frozen candy corn take longer to become the “finished product” because they need to sit in the fridge or freezer for a while.
1) Halloween Jelly Shots
It only takes a few steps to make these Halloween jelly treats.
- Measure quantity Doctorstick Jelly Shot Mix for Dogs What I want to use
- Add boiling water (or bone broth) and stir to dissolve.
- Pour into the mold
- Put in the refrigerator
- Once set, remove the jelly shot.
Check out this video to see how easy it is to make this treat.
While you’re waiting for it to harden, you can do something completely different.
Please note that the first time I added the recommended amount of liquid, the jelly shots became too hard and rubbery, so I will use more next time.
Find Halloween silicone molds here.
The 1/2 cup mix will fill this tray 2-4 times depending on how much you want to pack into the cavity.
2) Frozen Candy Corn Dog Treats
Here’s a fun idea from our friends at Beagles and Bargains.
To make these you only need to gather three ingredients.
- 1 to 1 1/2 cups plain nonfat yogurt
- 1-2 small bananas
- 1/2 cup canned pumpkin (not pumpkin pie filling)

I’ve never been a fan of candy corn myself, but I think this is super cute.
And I always end up with bananas that weren’t picked early enough for my liking (I prefer them green).
If you live in a cold area in late October, it’s best not to feed your dog cold frozen treats.
However, these will still work if you choose clear plastic or glass cups so you can see the three layers and don’t freeze them.
Note: If you do this, be careful your dog won’t chew on the plastic and swallow pieces.
3) Pumpkin Spice Puppuccino
Wow… it looks so delicious I want to try it myself!
These puppy-friendly drinks can be made in just 5 minutes with just 5 ingredients you probably have on hand – so easy and nutritious!
Here are the ingredients you will need:
- 1 cup nonfat plain yogurt
- ¼ cup pumpkin puree
- 2 tablespoons old fashioned oatmeal
- ¼ cup nonfat whipped cream
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Here’s the recipe for Puppuccino here.
I don’t know if I’d be brave enough to sweet talk a Starbucks barista into giving me a sample cup, but I feel like it just doesn’t taste the same without that special touch.
If you want to make it a peanut butter puppuccino, just replace some of the pureed pumpkin with peanut butter.
Be careful though, as this can make the mixture a bit thicker.
Final thoughts
If you’re looking for some easy dog treat recipes for Halloween, I hope my suggestions will suit your low-key style.
I think the Halloween shaped Jello Shots are quick to make, but I think the Pumpkin Spice Puppuccinos are the most fun.
Especially if you can get a small Starbucks sample cup.
No matter how you celebrate Halloween with your dog, we hope you have a great time!
