These ornaments are a cute and easy way to make them. celebrate the holidays With your pet.
I love Christmas. I don’t know if I’ve said that yet. When I say I love it, I truly feel like I’m in heaven when I’m on vacation.
I also love involving animals in the holidays.
I take them to carols, take them to parades, dress them up, and take them for family Christmas photos. They love every moment, crazy dogs.
Anyway, this was our first Christmas with them, so we wanted to do something commemorative to remember it. This is what came out from inside!
Watch the video to see how easy it is and print the instruction cards for later use.

What you need:
direction:
- Place all ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
- Form the mixture into balls and flatten them with your hands on wax paper or use a rolling pin on a cookie sheet. Be sure to dust the rolling pin with flour to prevent the dough from sticking.
- use of cookie cutter Cut out as many ornaments as you like. This mixture should be enough to make three. Make sure the cookie cutter is large enough to fit your dog’s paw.
- Next, take your pet’s paw and press it firmly into the dough shape.
- Use a straw to poke a hole in the top of each ornament.
- Place in the oven and bake at 200 degrees for about 2 hours.
- Once cooled, apply Mod Podge only to the indentations of the footprints. You can use your fingers to do this, or you can use a small paintbrush or toothpick.
- Next, pour some fine glitter over the Mod Podge. It’s okay if it doesn’t stay on the line.
- Let it dry for a few minutes, then dump the excess glitter outdoors or into the sink.
- Thread a piece of string or ribbon through the hole, tie it, and hang it on the tree.
If you’re worried about it getting stuck on the tree, add a little hot glue to the top of the ornament where you’ll thread the string. I also recommend using a glitter pen or sharpie to write on the back of the ornament so you can keep track of the year (or which dog it’s printed on if you have more than one dog).
