There are lots of ways to adapt yogurt bark for dogs by making it with strawberries or other fruits. In this yogurt bark recipe, Berry Good Dog Friendly Strawberry Bark, I used my dog’s favorite treat and crumbled it up and sprinkled it on top to make it extra special for him.

What you need to make apple bark for dogs
3 main ingredients:
Sliced apple
plain yogurt
Blue Spirulina
Other materials:
Strawberries and blueberries (cut into small pieces)
Your dog’s favorite treat (crushed)
Required equipment:
A flat baking sheet or wooden cutting board
Parchment paper
Bowl and spoon
The main ingredient in this recipe is apples. You can use any red apples. I used Rockit™ mini apples because they are easy for dogs to eat. They are the perfect size when cut and I think they are sweeter than other larger apples.
Can dogs eat apples?
Yes, dogs can eat apples in moderation. Apples are rich in vitamins A and C, as well as dietary fiber. Apple slices can be given to dogs with the skin on. Apples contain a natural antihistamine called quercetin, so giving apples to dogs with the skin on can be beneficial for dogs with allergies.
Can dogs eat yogurt?
Yes, dogs can eat plain, unsweetened yogurt. Yogurt is one of the best sources of probiotics, a type of live bacteria that aids in a dog’s digestion. You can feed your dog regular or Greek yogurt.

Spirulina is a nutritious microalgae that can help treat allergies in dogs and reduce inflammation associated with arthritis.

Make your own dog-friendly apple bark: How to make your own dog-friendly apple bark
Making apple bark for dogs is super easy, the hardest part is waiting for it to cool and set. This apple frozen yogurt dog treat recipe takes 2-3 hours.
1. Cutting an apple
You can cut it in two ways.
a) Remove the stem from the apple and slice it crosswise into rounds. Cut down the middle and then cut another slice in the same direction. Cut no more than 1/2 inch thick. You should now have apple rounds. Remove any seeds.
or
b) Remove the stem of the apple, cut it in half and slice it. Cut each half of the apple into pieces no larger than 2 inches.
2. Mix 1 cup yogurt with 1/4 teaspoon of blue spirulina.
3. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and pour the yogurt and blue spirulina mixture over it. Use a rubber spatula to spread the mixture evenly, reserving some of the mixture to place on top of the apples.
Four. Place the apple slices on top of the mixture.
Five. Add some of the mixture to the apple slices.
6. Top with strawberries, blueberries, and crushed dog treats. (option)
7. Freeze for 2 to 3 hours
8. Break into bite-sized pieces
9. Give it to your dog. optionSprinkle crushed dog treats on top.

These delicious apple bark dog treats will keep in the freezer on parchment paper or in ice cube trays for about a week.
