A street kitten was discovered hiding behind window bars, hissing at everyone. After getting safe, the kitten realised he should have been a lap cat all along.

A volunteer with PuppyKittyNYCity came across a stray cat hiding behind the bars of a building’s windows.
Tuxedo was a lonely boy without a mother or siblings. Despite being small and sick, he was full of energy and tried his best to protect himself. The people who found him immediately took action and went to the rescue to save him.
“A foster (volunteer) found him and brought him to us. He had an upper respiratory infection and was very temperamental,” PuppyKittyNYCity told Love Meow.

The kitten was in terrible condition – bloodshot eyes, a stuffy nose and dirty fur – but he fought hard and was safely transported to the rescue in a makeshift carrier made from a cardboard box and a pair of pants.
They gently washed his face, toweled him dry and gave him food and water to keep his little body energized and hydrated.

The pup, named Brat, hissed and spat at volunteers who cared for him, but his fighting spirit helped him survive a tough life on the streets and into the hands of rescuers.
Despite having an “angry baby” on their hands, they decided to “turn the hissing into a kiss.”

Hannah, a volunteer foster parent, took the mercurial tuxedo dog into her care and provided him with a comfortable space where he could find healing and socialization.
Eventually, Tuxedo Man realized he no longer had to fight and began to relax and enjoy the luxuries of indoor life.

With proper care and a good diet, his eyes cleared up, his appetite improved and his energy levels soared.
Brat was a feisty little pup who lived up to his name. His hissing gradually turned to purring as he snuggled up to his foster mom for affection and melted into her lap.

He loved cuddling with his owners and being showered with affection.
With his newfound confidence, Brat grew into a playful, mischievous cat, pouncing and pouncing, always on the lookout for trouble. He would often stick out his tongue as if he’d forgotten to put it away, which only made him more adorable.

He made friends with the cats who lived there and their cat-loving dog, Red, and charmed everyone with his overflowing energy and lovable personality.
It seemed like nothing could stop Brat as he wrestled with a gentle canine friend who was taller than him, waving his mittens in the air while sticking out his tongue like a little warrior.

A few weeks after being rescued, Brat had transformed into a lap cat, and one lovely family saw him on social media and fell in love with him.
When they met in that little tuxedo, it was clear they were a match made in heaven.

“Little Brat is officially home – from stray to a wonderful family.”
Bratt is a sweet, spoiled pup living out his dreams as he holds hands with his forever family, cuddles on their laps and purrs nonstop.
